ABOUT ME

I am an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, Davis and lead the Quantum Nanophotonics Laboratory, also known as the R-Lab. My group's research has been supported by the NSF CAREER award, DOE Molecular Foundry user grants and UC Davis CIRF program.

I obtained a PhD in Applied Physics from Stanford University under the supervision of Prof. Jelena Vuckovic, and hold a BSc/MSc in Physics from the University of Belgrade, Serbia, and a BSc/MSc in Computer Science from the Union University, Serbia. My experience in quantum and solid-state physics research was gained internationally at Stanford University, Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, Hewlett-Packard Labs, Oxford University, the Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information in Vienna, Helmholtz Center Berlin, the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Science, and the Institute of Physics Belgrade. I was selected for the Nano- and Quantum Science and Engineering Postdoctoral Fellowship at Stanford University's Ginzton Laboratory, my PhD was supported by the Stanford Graduate Fellowship, I was selected for the cohort of Rising Stars in EECS in 2017 and Scientific American’s 30-Under-30 Up and Coming Physicists in 2012.
